Welcome to the Enhanced Food Handler Training Module!
The following course content has been synthesized from Federal agencies and leading business organizations to include the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and the National Restaurant Association. The information provides enhanced protocols and safety measures as they relate to recent events surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Participation in this course is voluntary and not a requirement under local or state regulations. It is intended to provide an additional focused resource for organizations, managers and those working within the restaurant and food service industry on best practices in navigating current circumstances specific to COVID-19.
You will receive via email steps to obtain a certificate and further steps for employers. Participating businesses and organizations can also request a “COVID AWARE” Certificate for display at their establishment endorsed by Northern Arizona University and Coconino County.
Once enrolled into the course, you will have access to the course content including a certificate qualification exam.
