Think you're ready to self-publish your book? If you hope to share your book widely, first, determine if you need an agent. You can’t succeed without one unless….you self-publish using a specialty publisher or POD (print-on-demand). Approaching an agent or publisher requires a carefully crafted query letter, and you’ll write one in class. We’ll discuss the steps of the self-publishing process for your print or eBook. We’ll touch on some important marketing tactics like finding book reviewers for your book and the importance of setting up a website and Facebook account. This course is interactive and is also appropriate for those wanting to self-publish a memoir for family and friends. You'll learn tips and tricks about printing and more.
